Yes. Very sad. There's a thread in the Entertainment forum about this, too. I heard when I was in line at the cafeteria at work waiting to get my lunch. Totally lost my appetite after hearing.
This sucks! I met him in 1995. I served him coffee at Starbucks in Brentwood and I mentioned that I loved his films. He was Very gracious and even joked to his wife saying "See honey, I am famous." lol

Groundhog day, one of the cleverest, smartest and funniest movies ever made. I can't tell you how many times I've watched it along with Ghostbusters.
