I used a 1/2" hole saw and cut into a PVC adapter with it, then after they are cut out, they would just be a bunch of circles, so I cut each one in half.
I had pics of me cutting the scallops on my comp. but I can't find them If I do, I'll post them up.

If you give me a e-mail, I can send you some tuts from Playskool. I'm pretty sure it would be fine with him. Give him a PM, he's really cool and will help you out.

I've actually seen the Playskool tutorial...drooled over his talent, actually.

I've got the MR QG CE on the way, but when I was making hardware sabers I wanted to do this really badly, but couldn't figure it out. So I asked out of sheer curiosity. It looks awesome so far.

Here is what I've done so far, I added "green stuff" to fill the gaps at the end and connected the grip part. i also started the "bulb" as you can see those are just two prc pipes fitted on each other. I going to use "green stuff" to shape the rounded parts.

I've always admired the creativity of hardware sabers and this one is no different. It's looking good.

Here's another update. It's been a while cause of midterm's.

Here's what I've done, I'm almost done with the main body. Do anyone here know what that website is where you can buy metal pipes?
anyways, I'll be filling the gaps between the washers and assembling it together. I'm going to make the Bulb and the end detachable(they can screw off). Let me know what you guys think.

PS:since christmas break is coming expect to see a update soon.

Saber looks great. If you're looking for metal pipes for the outer part, have you tried any sink tubes yet? You can get them for a few bucks at home depot

Sink tubes wont work, I wanted a realistic pipe, cause sink tubes have the bronze color in side. There was a website where they had all kinds of aluminium pipes but I forgot the website.
