Yep it was today in 1978 that the world was given it's greatest gift, the Star Wars Holiday Special.

I finally tried watching it all the way through today .... I got sick to my stomach. How could they make Boba Fett of all people such a wimp?!?!

He might be in character for the SW Holiday Special 2.
The Hip and Happening Han Solo(he wanted to show his tattoos and piercings, that would not be a family friendly show).
But it would be an improvement over the old show, because now they have computer graphics.

He was always a wimp and he died falling into the Sarlacc Pit, screaming like the punk that he was.

I never understood this fascination with Boba Fett. He didn't actually catch Solo. The Empire and Vader caught Solo. All Fett did was track him. That's like saying the anteater guy from ANH was so awesome because he tipped off the Empire.

1: The screaming was later edited in. He originally died silently.

2: He survived the Sarlacc and went on to continue hunting Solo.

3: C'mon. It's just fun. It's Boba Fett. It's fun to say and fun to watch.

Boba Fett went out like a punk, just like his dad. I never understood the whole Boba Fett thing either. I don't go with the EU since George changes it whenever he feels like it.
