Hannibal Lector makeover

This is a great Henry Alvarez sculpture. This piece was in a haunt in Salem MA for years...They spray painted a beard to make it look like Edgar Allen Poe.

My friend, who owns a large haunt in New Hampshire, picked this up in a massive package. This is one of many pieces to redo for him.

It will eventually be displayed in his wax musuem.

Here are the before and after. It was a disaster as you can see. I cleaned and re painted it..tweaked the hair a tad too.

Great face, well done paint, but I hardly see Hannibal in it, sorry

I think with the mask on it'll really look the part, the eyes are good, but from the eyebags down it looses it

Don't apologize to me LOL..not my sculpture...I was more looking for comments on my paint work.

I also have a pull from Sarge that Russ L sculpted that's for my personal copy of hannibal. I was comparing the sculptures and they're a lot different. Henry Alvarez is amazing but I always thought his hannibal was weak.

I'm gonna apply the same style paint to my Russ L. sculpt. Should look great.

To me the paint job looks to flat, but it could be the flash etc...looks like one color as opposed to many layers and flesh tones etc...
