Han Solo ANH Blaster From RIA, Prev on Pawn Stars

Yeah...we know this show is fake, and they stage items (like this) once in a while to gain interest. They have brought stuff in from collections with no intention of buying it, just to have some cool items from the show. No reason for us, the serious people, to pay attention to this.

Ha.. they revealed it after I made this bootleg

Shows the fake lightsaber at the end as well..

Does anyone know if that Last Crusade revolver at the prop house they showed before the Han Solo blaster was real or not? Im starting to think it might not be.

I don’t believe a damn word any of these clowns say... and shame on steve grad for connecting himself with these lies.. I now give him less credit on his “authenticated signatures” too..

This is a total shame

Wait so both the lightsaber and blaster are fake but the “collectors” brought them in pretending to be real and the Pawn Stars appraisers said it was real?

Well damn. I’m really glad I found the RPF. So informative and makes a ton of cool stuff.

The appraiser has no authority of props. All he does and is known for is authenticating autographs

This crap is all staged.. and it’s a bold face lie

Hi folks.

I'm here to point out a few things:

1) The control box shows the same flaw as many of the resin casts floating around the community. The rear half above the black buttons is sunken in. Somehow it was cast without the card, or the card area was removed. This is technically authentic lineage, but no better than a recast part.

2) The emitter lip is the size of the V3 stunt saber. They got the thicknesses pretty down pat, but the diameter is way off.
3) Nipple gauge is too thick
4) Grip ring sizes do not line up withe the prop, especially the thick first ring.
5) Pommel cubes are even/symmetrical. The real prop mimics the AS handwheel, which has a steeper slope on one side.

2-5 prove to me it's not even a well done replica. They even fake aged it.

I can see this being 30 years old, replicas were put out in the 90s that had these similar flaws, and some have been passed off as original (Norank Eng or Elstree ROTJ saber, am I remembering that correctly?)

thanks for staying up late and posting this tom!! ;)

The blaster looks like it was intentially weathered. It seems very obvious. I'm not up to date on Solo's Dl 44 but it doesn't give off an old screen used vibe at all.

I also have to say - in all seriousness - this looks really bad for these archivists. The historical photograph and the item do NOT match. Period.

I am open to believe that armorer in that they had 4 guns, maybe all 4 blank firing ones... HOWEVER the bull barrel and scope cradle are completely unique. I've never seen another outside of sitting target/the other movie. Maybe 3 spare stunts if at all.

Quite agree

Also, it may look cheap because that isn't the flash hider from a machine gun. It's a copy made with blunted details and acid weathered or sanded.

Agree, but we know only 1 was used for ANH and it certainly wasn’t this one

The flash hider looks like a painted copy on this and not metal. That was one of the first things I noticed

Is it possible that, like the Sterlings, Bapty found a gun with a bull barrel and dressed it? New parts on an old gun that may or may not have had connection to filming?
