Han Solo ANH belt holster

Here's my holster I made from leather, and aluminum. Everything made by me except the aluminum disc, and the droid caller. It's wet molded to fit my DL-44 from a Denix, and (not pictured) are my belt tools I made from scratch and the CO2 cartridge that I painted. All the buckles and hardware are made by me from aluminum in my kitchen! The GF was not pleased hahaha!!

Hey GBrittellejr, did you by chance let anyone know more about your process somewhere? Fantastic looking rig you made. I wonder about your process for fitting the thigh portion of the holster belt. Seems it may be tricky getting the right positioning. I am thinking that making a cloth template and test fitting it before cutting leather makes sense.
