Halogen lighting and paint?

I can't recall seeing anything published lately in any of the Art/Museum or home remodel mags about halogens and damage to colletibles. I've noticed more galleries using the low watt halogens in combo with other lighting so I'd think they're getting more accepted.

I'd think in relating to use and our hobby and displays. Heat and location of even a low watt halogen would be more of the factor. Wouldn't want to warp resin or burn/blister paint.

I've started using the UV window film from Home Depot and Lowes on everything (windows and display cabinets) figuring that's easiest way to help control/lessen UV damage at least.
