I know HALO has been done to death, so I apologize for the thread... but... something that has always kinda bugged me about these armor costumes is the absence of really great layering under the armor.
It's not enough for me to simply wear a set of BDUs, or a black unitard or something to that effect. I'm searching for someone with really good sewing skills (or a product out on the market), to see if they can reverse engineer some of the pieces found in the screen captures (I know the shots are of elites costumes, but they have similar under-garments for the good guys) I have attached, in particular, the black, ribbed shoulder pieces. I want to add some bulk... some proportion to the costume. I've seen some nice images of ODST with a layered/ribbed thigh piece as well.
Am I nuts... or does this seem like a reasonable train of thought?
