Halo Animated Rocket Launcher Prop HELP

Hey, soooo, I'm wanting to make an animated rocket launcher, but while I have all the specs for the construction made, I don't know what to use as a motor.

Basically, I'm trying to do Halo 3 "Test" animation, where the barrels spin 180˚ , stop, spin like 20˚ back, then back into the original placement. but I'm not looking to be so specific, I just want a 180˚ spin, then another 180˚ so it's in the same position as you start.

I don't know where to look for a motor, or even a motor I can customize to make this 180\180 flip.

Does ANYONE have any idea where I can find a motor that I can tweak? I was thinking of a motor from a power drill, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to change the pace if the spin nor make it be able to do the 180\180 I'm looking for. I was also thinking, depending on what motor I get, I could use a magnetic switch to make it stop at the first 180 spin, then continue to the second 180 and then stop.

Any info on any tyupe of motor would help, even just speculations. It'd be greatly appreciated :]

If you use a cordless drill that takes a battery, you could in theory glue or screw the trigger to where it is held at some sort of halfway point so that it runs at the speed you desire, then you could hardwire a switch between the battery and the drill... I did something similar once in a sculpture project.

Thank you, I'll have to look into in or something similar. Only thing is is that I will have limited space in the "tumbler" I like to call it, because I will also be hopefully putting two speakers I scrapped and the hardware for that.

I will look into it tho :)
