halo 4 assassination knife

Hey guys! a new project here, I'm trying to branch out and work with something other than MDF
made a 2D file and had it laser cut and wow does acrylic hold a sharp edge...

still a lot to do! have to finish the bevels, finish the bottom half of the grip and smooth/polish it off! This is all day one

I got my acrylic online! its regular plexiglass and i cut it at my school

Yeah I realized but there are significant dimension changes such as the game knife being elongated, plus bringing the real knife as part of your costume to a con will get you kicked out pretty fast Also i heard that the handle is pretty uncomfortable, im just doing this to hone my weapon building skill

another weekend means another 3 hours work on this thing!

now ive finished everything off so i only have the smoothing left to do! Plus a cross hatched grip detail

i had to say that i could cut myself on it didnt i? Well it happened... its an amazingly fine cut :O thin like a paper cut but deep as hell....

You need to mold and cast it. It's really well made, and looks simple enough to make resin copies. And since it's connected to Halo, it should sell really well.

yeah im considering making a sheath and mouding this

I got the knife moulded and cast up now!
