Halo 3 Brute Spiker Prop lots of pics..

Hi guys. I am new here so I figured I would share my Halo 3 Brute Spiker Prop with you guys. This is my version 2 of the spiker. It was hand made from MDF, sheets of styrene, plastic tubing, epoxy sculpt, leather, aluminum and leds . I then cast it in smooth cast for durability. Below are some finished and in-process shots. I've always loved this as a prop, especially after they made one for the Believe campaign. Would have loved to have picked up one of your kits, but I'm just so poor :wtc: Great work man, I really mean it.

Beautiful work and a great reproduction! Nice casting too, picked up lots of good detail. Was a two-part silicone mould with resin or something else?

Man, that's pretty impressive, how did you do the electronics for it?

The electronics are really basic. There are 6 white led's, 1 resistor, 1 9v battery clip, and one switch hidden in the front near the barrels. Getting the electronics in there is a matter of drilling various holes and using a blue transparent plastic to get the color I want and hide the lights. I am going to make my personal one with a trigger activated light system, possibly with sounds.
The casts were done with Smooth-on products. They are 2 part silicon molds and smooth cast urethane plastic for the casts.
