HalloweenCostumes.com "Back to the Future 2 Light Up Shoes"

WOW!!! They have ridonkulous customer service!! I emailed them about getting the wrong size and one of the shoes had a glue stain on it. I got a reply very fast with a return label and they said they already shipped another pair to me and they're on the way!!! Super excited to get the new pair. I tried on the ones they sent me and I love them.. just too tight.

I need a tutorial or something on how to do this ^^^^ And where did you get your logo for the strap??

Check the air mag v2 and v3 thread and the other air mag v2 thread for a wealth of info on all the mods. Both are in the first 3 pages of the forum and have more modding info than this thread.

logos are laser printed on clear paper/stickers.

I just ordered my sole bright, paint/sealer, and dye from http://angelusdirect.refr.cc/7VZCHVR

My straps from FreddyTV are waiting for when I get home.

Think I'll try the toe mod tonight. Cross what ever you can!

I was putting on my new straps and discovered that one of my buckles is a size 14 and not 11ike the other. Contacted HC to get a replacement. Guess I'll have to wait and see what they say.

Just completed the toe slim

Looks way better. Those toe boxes must be HUGE if after the slim (steam?) they extend out past the rubber of the mid-sole.

Can you post a pick of the two different ankle buckles? The buckles on the V2 are all the same size regardless of the shoe size.

Great toe slim!
That's the one thing I hate about my shoes.
How can I do this?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1429184576.135442.jpg

Thnx! I bought them recently from China from a good contact I have there.
I was amazed by the quality, but still needs a lot of changes imo.
Would like to add the EL lights in the sole and Nike logo, and the first thing: toe slimming..

Well take you time and you will be all good. If you are really keen, check out guys like airair and glasses who have done the proper "sock toe" slim. The steam method is OK if you don't want to cut the shoes up. The problem with the stream method is that it only re-shapes the toe. It can't reduce the size. That "extra" has to go somewhere, so either you trim it out by cutting the shoe up or you have what some call the "muffin top".

As you can see the 14, left, is noticeably longer in length and width.

Sorry can't see the picture.

Now I can, thanks :)

Great video!
Was that your first time slimming them?
Is there a way to skim them and keep that clean straight surface?
Or is there no way in doing this without wrinkles?
