Has anyone had issues with their lights dying? My right shoe just stopped working completely. It happened last week when I wore them for a convention. It was the first time I'd worn them for more than a few minutes. The left charged back up but the right did not. I even swapped the plug from left to right thinking maybe my cord went bad but no luck.

Only one of the yellow LEDs. Others have had problems ranging anywhere from that to totally dead.

I tried the steam-mod already, my foot doesn't like it. Even after I went back in and made some adjustments. So, it's sock-toe time.

The main thing is using heat to unglue the toe area from the grey soles.

With good heat, you will find it much easier to pry away the toe area.
 
Has anyone ordered a Nike kit for these? I wasn't able to read the whole thread, I actually bought a kit last week and I just applied it to the shoes yesterday.
I must say it looks pretty damn cool
 
are you referring to the mp kit?

i need to figure out how to do the straps. i have NO experience with soldering or sewing/gluing. :(

You could go the easy way and ask Cavx if you can buy a set of glow in the dark logos, they're super bright compared to the glowing strap they come with. Then you won't have to wire up anything. That's what I'm going to do. :)

Your are best making new straps for these regardless because they are stitched and they proper shoes (including the V2 reps) have no visible stitching on the straps apart from the velcro.
 
I'd prefer to have the light up logo to the gitd but I have zero experience. So I want to either buy a set already made or supply the parts to have them made. Idk who to contact though.
 
For electronic solutions, you probably best buying the MP kit. It works off a coin battery. Not sure if you have to solder anything.
For a non-electronic solution, I do offer CYAN Glow In The Dark parts which include both strap and sole parts.
 
I got a notification that my order shipped. BUT they say I ordered a size 5 and I definitely didn't order a 5. I emailed them but haven't heard back :( Can someone PM me the best place to get the Nike kit to modify mine?

Also I did purchase the glow in the dark strap (sun light charged) as a backup from locacatlady (temporary out of stock) $30 Bucks, $5 Shipping

Spur of the moment painted my midsoles haha. I kept looking at my v2s that I repainted and feeling bad about my HC wear pair:

 
Anyone made a pair of tounge covers that just slip down over the existing ones? Going to buy some dye today for my soles. Is there a tutorial anywhere I missed?
 
Oh,and should o let the batteries run out completely before recharging and how long should I let them charge? Best source to plug charger in?
