Yeah i did the led conversion, and el light conversion.. and the el strap

No those are the stock soles..thats my next mod..just did them fast so i can wear then today..

Finally got a chance to finish my shoes.. 2 long nights, and some blood, but they are done for today!! So i wore my modded HC Mags for the first time last night to an event in Liverpool, and it was amazing the reaction to them! People thinking they were the real deal and asking where I got them. Same with the HC Jacket & Hoverboard. I was the only one there in full BTTF II outfit and got interviewed and asked for loads of photos. It was surreal!

(Only downside was I couldn't get my Mark Poon strap upgrade to work but still looks awesome!)

Just ordered some HC's. How to I unyellow my soles and keep them that way. And by sole yellowing I assume you guys are referring to the LED windows and not the actual soles.

painted sole is referred to as midsole

and you can't unyellow them, at least not permanently. i solebrighted mine and it damaged the midsole and then the clear started yellow again days later. so i just tinted min blue.

What did you use to tint them? I rather just do that instead of having them yellow

this is what they looked like immediately after two full applications in the sun before they re yellowed. i used light blue leather dye and mixed it in with the solebright. no sun. just left it on for about 10 mins and then washed it off.

I was planning on just adding the swoosh and the nike branding and tinting the midsole. I won't plan on relighting anything.

So true.. lol.. my el strap stoped working.. aperently walking made the wire pull from it.. need to resolder them..then theyre solid..

If you guys wanna unyellow your shoes..cheap way is to go to sallys and buy 40 volume hydrogen paroxide cream...i got 50 but thats only for ppl with a business license... make sure to get the red color... some people have stated that the sole creams they sell are really just re-packaged salon care cream

i've had 3 pairs and they all broke the first time i wore them out. right shoe each time. and this time it's both sole and heel and it looks like the wire has worked it's way out and is twice the length out that is was.

When mine were unmodded the light started to fail after the first use.. i already wanted to do a light conversion so that just pushed me to do it

modded but not the lights, just toe, paint, etc... and i've put too much work in these to send them back even if they were under warranty. so now the next step is to change out like you did. remember to let me know when you get more stuff. i may even make a new pair of straps too. they light up like a champ but i'm pretty sure i can make a better pair.
