hairspray on wed clay instead of krylon crystal clear

hey,i'm going t be molding a few wed clay sculpts with silicone and i was wondering if hairspray could work as the plastic layer between the master an the mold instead of krylon crystal clear,

eh...I don't think you'll be able to get complete coverage with hairspray, but you can always do a small scale test.
