Gremlins props and replicas - don't feed 'em after midnight

I've recently been bitten (not by a Gremlin but) with the Gremlins collecting bug.

Have acquired a vinyl Gremlin kit, a NECA 1:1 Mohawk polystone bust and a Gizmo.

I'd love to see what you folks have in your collections. I know there are some dedicated Gremlins fans on the board.

Hi mate

It's prob the same version as yours, I meant to write statue not bust! I will try to get some pics of my stuff up asap.

I'd love to see some pics of Ron's Mogwai's too!

cool, ill snap some pics, Neca did two versions, one around 18" tall and one big 2 ft + one, I have the large beast, ill try and snap some pics of them all together.

That would be great thanks.

What are the differences between the NECA Mohawks, apart from the size? Wierd that there is such a big size difference.

Hey now. Just wanted to say hello to the fellow Gremlins nuts out there. I only have one gremlin item in my collection right now, a vinyl kit of Mohawk from part 2. I got it off ebay a few years back as a side project, he was missing the spikes for his head and back so I made the spike/fins out of model magic compound. Took a bit of trial and error to get the colors right. No airbrush, only cheap paints from a hobby store and a few different size brushes. I used Q-tips for some of details, fine tip brush for others. What really brings him to life is the clear gloss sealer, gives him that wet and slimy look.

Smile!

Nice pics and build-ups!

PH, I love the Gremlins 1 style paint job on your Gremlin there.

Here are a couple of pics of mine:

Really cool Gremlins :thumbsup These are my Gremlin collectibles. I painted this resin Mohawk & purchased the cute Gizmo. The original Mohawk was designed & painted by the very talented Steve Wang.

Great stuff guys!!

If you're interested in seeing some of the original props, check out the Movie Prop Restoration page on our site.

There's a gallery dedicated to Gremlins Props. Some of these came from Propstore.com who have quite a few original Gremlins 2 pieces that came direct from Baker. Amazing stuff!

Many more pics to be seen on my company's Gremlins page here: Gremlins Movie Props Restoration, Preservation and Display

Enjoy :)

Best,
Tom
