I have a ring for it already it is cast in transluscent green resin and lights up completley with El sheet.
What style ring do you have? What is the size? Could it be cast in Transluscent green Resin?

Here's some photos of the Hal, Alan and Kyle rings I made. They were cast in sterling silver and then painted green. They can be made in any size. You'd probably be on your own as far as casting it in translucent green resin as I don't have any experience with that sort of thing. Maybe another board member has some info on that. It's definitely a good idea as painting these is a big PITA.
