It's a tradition at DC Direct to give the rings packaged with the power battery props a "one size fits most" design. Only the metal JLA Trophy Room Green Lantern Power Battery Prop had a metal ring molded in only one size (a "perfect" size 10, the same size I wear!
) and all others have had a "one size fits most" ring, usually made out of PVC.
Yeah, but I would think this would be in a different category from the regular lantern replicas since this is a movie replica. The adjustable band on the other ring replicas is justifiable because they are designed to look like the rings from the comic but have no tangible reference item.

True. But then again, the movie ring is SUPPOSED to be a size 10½, and DC Direct got that wrong, too. :rolleyes

Well, keep in mind, they're also releasing a ring by itself that's supposed to be more accurate (but is still 2½ sizes too large compared to the movie prop.) And again, DC Direct generally likes to package "one size fits most" rings in with the power battery props. It's just kinda their thing.

I pre-ordered mine from Discount Comic Book Service last month when it was solicited in Previews, along with 2 of the Power Ring Props that are being sold separately! Got them all for 32% off of DC Direct's MSRP that way!
My thinking was that the Power Ring Prop being sold by itself is likely to be the better, more accurate version. And DC Direct hadn't given us much of a look at the ring included with the Power Battery Prop at that point. So I ordered both. That way, if the one with the Power Battery Prop was a piece of crap, I could display it with the other one.

That doesn't actually mean anything, as all along, they've been shipping out in completely random order, so there's no telling how many are left.
Just the other day, someone on the Green Lantern Corps Message Board received # 2813 (Tomar-Re's Sector.)
I was hoping that I'd manage somehow to get my hands on # 0017 (Jack T. Chance's Sector) but whoever received it, they haven't turned up. :unsure
