Green Lantern Early Bird Figure (with ring) Order CANCELED! =(

I just got an email today from Toys R Us (ugh) saying that the GL Early Bird figure I ordered was unavailable and therefore my order was canceled! I was anxiously anticipating getting that official ring replica, plastic and all, and am just devastated by this news because now I will probably have to buy it on ebay from some lucky bloke who will no doubt make a ridiculous profit. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone on this board as well. I'll just be sitting here with my Red Lantern ring >/

Yeah, not quite as bad as you. I was browsing when it came out, and took the opportunity to order one. However, I live in the UK, so I have a long standing agreement with a stateside friend that I get stuff sent to her place. Unfortunately, when I tried to place the order I didn't gave her phone number to enter the mandatory field. By the time I'd got hold of her and got it, it had sold out...gutted I was.

Toysrus probably took 10,000 orders even after knowing its super limited.

I guess someone called Toy R Us CS and they told the caller that because of manufacturing delays all orders are getting cancelled. They didn't give the caller a new date for when they will be available for purchase again.

Bizarro, here's a look at the figure and the base that has a ring (which presumably is removeable). GREEN LANTERN Movie Toys Action Figures Limited Edition From the picture it actually looks like a decent replica.

Underworld, well at least everyone got screwed and we're not alone =P Ridiculous.

Wow, that Tomar Re figure is atrocious! The Hal/GL figure looks like a halfway decent sculpt, but seems kind of cheap. Personally, I don't think that ring is all that great. I'm sure you'll be able to find something much better, either commercially or on the RPF before too long.

SCORE! Thanks for posting! I was so upset when it sold out - I just placed my order for one. Looks like they have a limit of one per customer.
I'm wondering if they decided to increase the run number due to the popular demand of them? Maybe that's why orders were cancelled so they could start fresh?

When I first read this thread back in February, I looked on Toys R Us web site and found the figure for sale again. I immediately placed the order. This was February 4th. I received an email from Toys R Us a few days ago saying the item still wasn't in stock and they didn't know when it would be. If it wasn't in stock by April, they'd cancel my order. A few hours ago, I got another email saying it's in stock and they're processing my order!
