EDIT*****
PIECE IS FROM TAMIYA 1/25 CENTURION TANK KIT 30614

i've been out of the tank kit building loop for so long i'm too rusty to identify these parts,
it SHOULD be easy for the talented members in here.

two track link side by side in the mouth of 8-d-8 droid's mouth

the guide tooths have been cut off, the sprocket wheels must be pretty narrow judging by the tooth hole placement.

my gut feeling is its not a high quality manufacturer such as tamiya, they look pretty inaccurate pieces.

thanks for any help.

its definitely not a pz iv, i had a check, i thought i knew my track links but these have me stumped!

I think these are some sort of metal connection part or small hinges used at the time. Think clips for panels, or some sort of thing. I recall seeing a bin of them at Apogee back in the day.

Looked through a bunch of my kits with no luck.Ahy idea of what scale it may be?Also,it looks like a part with slots in it under the track parts.

The panel behind the track links looks like that perforated sheet on the Han in carbonite control panels. I have a sheet I got from vos years ago.

E=mc , what manufacturer for the tracks, Bandai?

If you posted a pic it's not showing for me.

Thanks for trying to nail this down guys, really appreciate it.

well i've had a look, and they don't seem to match after all, see pic below.

the holes for the sprocket teeth are a different shape also.

Here it is, 24mm wide (just under an inch)
The top is the piece out of the box, bottom is trimmed to match the part you are after.

nice one guys, from memory this kit is re issued. hopefully with the same tracks.

if this is the case i can order just the sprue or bag (what do they come in?)

i did this before getting the vibro ax parts from the tamiya uk importer.

or you have any better ideas?

i would like to offer the links with my droid heads.

thank again.
