I am wanting to create some text to transfer to a project I am working on that is painted wood. I know I can project it, but it need to be more professional looking. I bought some dry transfer stuff from Hobby Lobby but it is TERRIBLE. Basically, I want to print off my lettering in reverse on my inkjet, lay it on top of my project and tranfer it somehow (I would think a rub on or something). It may be like vinyl lettering or something, but the font I need to use isn't a "standard".

I have seen iron on transfers, but I don't want the entire sheet to transfer, just the lettering. Can anyone offer any suggestions, or is anyone set up to print stuff like this.

Thanks

Can you just print to a clear self adhesive paper and stick them on one at a time? You could use the holes they came out of as a guide.

Also I think you can buy decal paper at hobby stores that you could use.

I talked to a sign company here at lunch and said he'd do it for $15. I spend that much in some crappy do-it-yourself paper. lol

I think I'll go that route. Thanks guys
