Just an update on our progress. We have removed adsense from a number of areas, including private messages, member profiles, and other misc pages on the site, which should improve loading speed.
Additionally, we have added Forum titles and Forum descriptions to each Forums Home Page as well as Thread titles and thread descriptions to each thread. This has two effects. As more people land on individual forums or even individual threads, the thread title and description will instantly allow them to see what the thread is about. Additionally, this improves the relevancy of the ads which are displayed and if we are going to have ads, we might as well have ads that are relevant to the topic instead of an ad that has nothing to do with our site.
