Good place to buy acrylic rod and sheets

Need a 1/2" diameter clear rod and about a 1" thick sheet of acrylic probably 24" x 24". The sheet could be less than 1" i guess. 3/4" could probably work.

anyone know a good place? I am going to use this to support my SS Probe Droid which ends up being fairly top heavy. The 24x24 is to keep it from tipping. 1/2 rod in the middle will go up into the droid

I've ordered materials from Ridout Plastics in California. There are great to deal with, but shipping is sometimes an issue. Check with you local glass and glazing suppliers or contractors. Usually they have access to plastics and won't kill you on shipping.
