Hello RPF members! I am making a Gonk droid for my younger sister for the upcoming comic con this September and will be documenting the build here.

I just searched on YouTube for a sound file then just converted the video file to an mp3. The sound files generally aren't the best but it worked for me!

Ok, so the gonk droid that I am going to base this costume off of is going to be the one from the new battlefront game.



It's simple and I love the antenna it has. It also looks like there is a speaker of sorts on the top and that is what I plan on using for the sounds. Hopefully I'll be able to start on this soon! More to come.

Awesome! Thanks for the links.

I tried pulling audio from some videos, but it was hard to just single out the sounds of the gonk droid itself among Jawas and other droids.

Might want to look into the old Dark Forces games. they had the droids running around.
