Started on my game pack today. Building it out of, what else, foamcore.

Here is what I got done so far.

I am adding/taking away from the game design as I see fit. What can I say? I wanted to add my on touch to it.

UPDATE: Nothing too big. Added labels, fake blue lighs on side, and some detail parts.

I did finish the slime tank, re-used a tank from my scraped slimeblower, but it is on the heavy side. gonna try a 2L soda bottle.

Here is my "finished" game pack.

Remember: I did take away/add/change a few details to my liking.

Ok...my 1st tank was WAY too heavy. It ripped the powercell and stuff right off the pack. I changed to a Mtn Dew bottle filled with "Great Stuff"

Here are my pics of me wearing it for the 1st time.

wow...this is sweet...ive only been playing the game for a short time now...but i know this pack add on..it looks great! awesome work:thumbsup

Outstanding! I was wondering how long it was going to take for someone to give the game prop a go, I just didn't think it would be this quick.

I've got a screen accurate pack that Hangar 18 Studios put together back in the day -- [1998 or so?]. I got the idea to put one of Hyperdyne's sound chips in it and Steve Dymszo wired up his and my packs with the chip, speakers and about twelve tons of batteries. It was awesome at the time... but it has since been eclipsed by Rocketeer 25's amplified pack.

Regardless of the yada yada, I really love the GAME PACK because of the additional lights and light bar gauges. I even like the "heat venting" mechanism which they've added. Would love to see that done! Basically what I am saying is that I would love to see a HERO game pack done with all the bells and whistles.

I am thinking about starting to build a movie pack - though your game pack looks fantastic - I am always impressed by the work that members here can pull off.
I hate doing things from scratch (too self-concious about my work) so I will be hunting down all the parts one-by-one.
Who sells the BEST sound/lights package?

Uhm, Exoray?!?!?

I dont like the game pack, sure, it has more lights, gimmicks ans lots of funktions but it looks noch "clean"... The gun is ful of that stuff, like tanks and these stuff...

It will be a lot of work to make acurte lighting and all the other stuff and I think a normal movie pack is hard enough with acurate lights...

That is Clever and OH So Cool! I never wanted a Proton Pack before but since playing that videogame I want one now.

Thanks guys. The pack itself was build in about 10 hours spread over 3 days. It is almost 100% foamcore. The non-foam stuff is the cakepan, washers, PVC, and wires. XD
