In honor of Ghostbusters Day, the anniversary of the original film's 1984 release, the duo on Wednesday spilled to The Hollywood Reporter on the plethora of content coming fans' way via two films, an animated TV series, video games, and a Dark Horse comic series.

The various announcements on Ghostbusters Day were:

1. A 'Ghostbusters' animated film from Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan (with Sony Animation
2. A 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' sequel - code-named 'Firehouse' - set in New York City.
3. A 'Ghostbusters' animated series with Netflix (produced by Sony Animation).
4. A 'Ghostbusters' comic book series set in between 'Afterlife' and the just-announced sequel.

And also one of the streets on the Sony Pictures Lot has been renamed 'Ivan Reitman Way' in honour of the great man. Nice.
