Getting had by a member building props.

What steps can be taken if a member has accepted money to build props from a number of other members only to take the money almost a year ago and give us no update, but to still visit the forums. I know people have been messaging this person and we all get no response and his last visit was on 8-3-2010.

The_Eli took some of our money to make us a replica prop, and had some life troubles but said he was still on top of things but that was almost 6 months ago. and some of us are out $150 +.

My question is, is there any way to go about anything concerning this matter, i am sure we are not the first that this happened to.

My dealings with Eli has ended in a satisfactory fashion, I hope he will make good on what he owes the rest of you.

Unfortunately from my experience there is really no recourse unless you have a legal interest and information in the matter. The moderators and board facilitators in most message boards would try to mediate, but most likely not get involved.
