Gettin' Creative With A Bio (Jason Hockey Bio) - Update With High Res Pics

So, I've got 5 P1 bio's hanging on my wall that essentially all look the same, so it was time to change things up.  My second passion is all things old school horror, so I decided to have a go at mixing it up a bit and paying tribute to my 2 all time favorites.  This is not an original idea... I've seen one somewhere before.  I'm extremely pleased with the outcome, and will try and post more pics in different light to show off the color and weathering (battery died in my camera).  I should also point out before someone else mentions it, the chevrons on the cheeks look 'off' in the pics, but they are not.  Also, the mesh and lenses were thrown in quickly to get some pics.  I plan on replacing them with something a little better suited (I'm open to ideas here guys!)  Thanks for looking!

very nice - have you thought of using plain black fabric for the eyes, to give that empty, soulless look?

Thanks guys, i appreciate it.  Troggs, I like your idea and think I'm gonna remove the mesh and stick with your idea.  Tom, I painted the base of the tri-laser red and left the tips white.  I need to get the camera back out and snap some more pics.  Also, the more I look at it, the more I think I need a little more weathering around the holes.  Stay tuned for updates!

Looks awesome man  :)

But if it was me I might try to add a little shade just under the cheek bones and around the crown to give it a feeling of dept and to enchance the curves and edges more, maybe touch up a little light grey around the eyes and lazer.  :)

Glad you like the fabric idea, as to the weathering around the holes, are you going to do the same as you've already done on the rest of the bio, or are you going to go more towards heavy paint chipping/rust?

Well, most of the Jason hocks you see have quite a bit of 'grime' around the edge of the holes, so I'm thinking a darker brown, especially around the holes in the snout.  Imagine when Jason is breathing, condensation builds up around the holes, and dirt/dust stick to it... make any sense at all? lol  I'll attach a pic of my part 3 hock to give you an idea of what I was going for, although the holes are pretty clean in the pic.  Also, I was going for a cleaner look like the part 3, but I still think it needs a little more.  Thanks again for the idea!

Quality buddy, I've just finished my Jason Vs Freddy mask. Lovin the crossover . My two favourite characters. Che che chee, were owwwwww

I thought I'd post some updated pics.  I felt it needed a little more dirt and wear so I did another dark wash.  I think I've got it exactly where I want it now.  Also, I took some advice and changed out the lenses.  I removed the mesh and simply added a piece of black foam behind the eyes.  I'm still not 100% sure I like the look, but it's an improvement over what was there.  As usual, I'll look at it for a while and see if anything strikes me that may work better for lenses.  To finish off the display I'm going to add some red LED's behind it so the holes will glow.  Any other suggestions, opinions, or advice is always welcome.  Thanks for looking!
