So I'm going to cosplay Genos from One Punch Man. I still have a lot to learn for it, but I'm hooked on this show and that's solid motivation. This is the "Anti-Saitama Tactical Arm Type-00" version (which I really must figure out how to print onto the knuckles). I'll post my progress and musings in the hopes that they come in handy for someone else down the line. If anyone has any suggestions, your assistance is very much appreciated.
Some pics for those uninitiated in this show's glory:

I've collected a lot of references, but this is anime so there's a lot up to interpretation. I'll be modeling mine along the lines of the anime as opposed to the manga.
For the arms I'll be building 3D models in Blender. I've a basic knowledge of it, but I've been learning a lot in order to tackle this. Below is what I've got so far. I figure if I do one piece each night I'll be setting a good pace.

It's near-impossible to get good front or side views of these arms. As you can see above, they're really useful when I can find them (I elongated the shoulder plate to compensate for the angle). Meanwhile, I've fallen in love with Blender's Subdivide Surface modifier coupled with the ability to Crease edges. It has made this process so much more fun.
