i have made CAD drawings for this kit i'm making..but i needed to transplant them onto platicard to cut around. the pattern was rather complicated and i needed a direct transfer instead of measuring, drawing, measuring, wash-rinse-repeat.
i had bought some pounce wheels and was intending on perforating the CAD drawing on thicker paper-card stock then dusting that paper (with carbon) over the plasticard, then fixing that powder to plasticard.
my fiance asked me why i don't use carbon paper.
OMG.
how much easier this made my life.
and with all the precision i needed.
now i've only been in this hobby for a few years...but why haven't i heard of others using this technique?
