I'm expecting nothing, but i still think they're hiding their real plans.
There's nothing really being done for the 50th anniversary other than the one hour special. The documentaries so far haven't been anything special. It's Tennant, couple current producers, and Barrowman saying why 1 and 2 were so great for 20 minutes than tagging on a full episode of that doctor for 2.5 hours.
WE could shoot a better documentary ourselves.
I'm getting the feeling their suprise is going to be a 3D episode where 11 says something at the end and the camera pans over to a crewman who was a previous doctor, then to the next crewman who was another, etc.
If all former doc's want in, this is something you splurge on. The only scripted entertainment show to hit the milestone and from what we know so far, they don't seem to really care. I think they do care, which is why i'd like to believe they're just playing it close to the vest.
