I can't help it... I've been on a BTTF III kick these past couple of weeks.
This one is ALMOST done. I just need to do the headlights and that's it.
I've been wanting to do this replica for a good long while. I've had the shell casings sitting around forever. Yeah, I know they didn't have 44 shells in 1885, but I just went with it.
The master was made from sheet styrene in a night or two and then resin cast.
The wheels were laser cut acrylic with brass axles and an axle mount made out of a brass hinge. The strips are aluminum sheet with a coat or gunmetal paint which I'll weather a little more when I have time.
And a little comparison between testing models.
I think I need to try something from one of the other two films now...
