Game of Thrones

I believe he was just named 'king' in name alone.

He left the table at the end.. and the other 'powers' started talking about they want to do.. and making choices/decisions..

If Bran was the 'real' king.. then why wouldnt he stay? and if he is the King (and the 3ER).. then why would he need ANYONE else? He 'knows' everything already.

Its cant be both.

I know 'all'.. but I need others.??
or
I'm the king.. but I dont partake in making any decisions??

Yeah... leaving everything to the small council worked REAL well for Robert...

You hire/assign people whose judgement and experience you trust and let them do what they do best. Step in for overall guidance and priorities, but not micro-manage the decisions.

I loved how Samwell suggested they have the people chose their ruler and everyone had a big laugh about it...

But he KNOWS everything....

So I dont see how that is valid or efficient by any means.....

You dont need judgement or experience from ANYONE, if you already know.

The problem with Bran (aside from everything else) is the fact that he has no capacity for empathy any more and no ability to recognize the boundaries of human interactions.

Do we know if Bran can see the future? I can't remember.

Maybe he's like a guide. Seeing if humanity can figure things out on their own, stepping in only when history needs a course correction. Maybe he's done this in the past as well.

I would have loved if Dorne and the iron Island told the lord counsel to suck it. They will not be ruled nor ever have been. It totally messed up with the family motto of unbowed, unbent, unbroken. Then have Sansa go all sassy on them. In which they say ok...greyworm get your army and the riders. Steam roll all the high lords with the combined army of Dorne, iron island, and Dany’s massive group. The North can’t stop them since they don’t have crap left to try to hold them off.

What if grey worm blew jon’s Party boat to the high heavens in the bay after he leaves? Then sails off like a boss.

I also wouldn’t allow the north to break off cause Sansa wants to go from old princess to a Queen now. F that..this is a team event

Go back to being brutal and realistic to a point.

Bran being the king is so bad. We’ll make you lord of winterfell! No, I’m the three eye raven now...I know things or say I do. Ok....Later. You can be king cause my head is mush. Ok! I’ll be king cause I knew I would be since it’s why I’m here. WTF?? If you knew things and still allowed them to happen to benefit yourself and your family. You’re just as bad and ruthless as everyone else. You just sit there and act like a potato while everyone else dies. He could have stop Dany...warp into her dragon or her to stop the madness....nope I like to watch horror movies on crowtube. He is a total A hole and hope he is trying to wipe his butt and falls if the toilet. Cracks his head open on the wheel chair armrest and bleeds out.

While she didn't see it coming, Game of Thrones creators D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have known for years how they were planning to end the series. On occasion, they would ask Clarke to play a scene in a different way than what she expected from her supposedly heroic character.
“There’s a number of times I’ve been like: ‘Why are you giving me that note?’” Clarke said. "So yes, this has made me look back at all the notes I’ve ever had.”

Watching game of thrones was like watching grand prix live the show/race starts its exciting , you don't know who's gonna win, your all amped up . The anticipation grows. There are wrecks along the way taking out favourites more anticipation, here they come here they come woooosh OVER !

They blew right by, quick as a fart very anticlimactic !

Kings delegate just like a president has many in their cabinet. Of course he will have members at his table discussing the “day to day”.

This was like the birth of democracy for the throne. So I don’t think he is going to rule the same as previous kings

That was House Martell's words. As far we know, in the show, House Martell has been wiped out. Whoever the new Prince of Dorne is, is from a different house with different words. Unless, of course, they made some Martell ******* the Prince. That could happen in Dorne. We'll never know now. They didn't tell us.

It looked like the Dothraki were wiped out to the man during their fateful flaming sword charge during the battle of Winterfel. We saw a couple of terrified horses return and that was that. The Unsullied lost a great number of warriors as well
Suddenly we have them back at strength for the battle of King's Landing. once they break through the walled defenses they take the fighting into the main city, street by street. I the middle of that fight, Dany goes ******* crazy and start blasting the city apart with her troops still inside.
Now in the last episode she had both the Dothraki horde and the Unsullied back to apparent full strength for her inspirational 'tomorrow the world' speech. Not even a quarter of these troops could fit on the groups of ships she was using they got ambushed by the Iron Fleet.
Palpatine had to wait months to get a new clone shipmant

The Unsullied bother me more and more. Didn't she start with 10,000 and no way to replenish them? They've been getting killed slowly but surely since she got them. They kept getting ambushed in the East. Were they on the ships when Yarra's fleet was destroyed? That would have taken out a lot of them. Then they were decimated at Winterfell. And they lost men taking the city. It looked like she still had thousands of them.

The Dothraki should have been wiped out during their charge.

The numbers in armies hasn't made sense in a while. When the war started, and the population was full, wasn't a large army something like 15K-20K? How can the north still have and army of any size? How can anyone?

From the asoif wiki: Greenseer
Greenseers had the greensight and were wargs as well.[2] The First Men believed that they were responsible for carving faces into weirwoods, creating heart trees.[3] Stories describe the greenseers seeing through the faces of their weirwoods, influencing animal and plant life,[4] and possibly seeing into the past and future. Maestersare skeptical of some feats of the greenseers.[1]

So, presumably, yes, Bran is capable of seeing the future.

So now that it is over, hopefully we have the books to look forward to. However, there is still a lot of those subplots to tie up.

It's an older article, but seeing as how the last books I read was around 8 years ago, I kind of forgot how much was skipped and it was a nice refresher

Add to that the "fake Arya" and Ramsey. It is going to be interesting to see how Sansa gets to where she did in the TV show. And Speaking of Sansa,...Harry the Heir

Edric Storm

Question, though: Is Tormund Lord Commander of the Nightwatch, and I'm guessing he named Jon First Ranger, or is it the other way around?

Tormund didn't join the watch. When he and John parted ways at winterfel, he said he was taking the wildlings to the wall, and would stay there at the fort/castle until the storms passed, then head north of the wall, back to their homes.

They never specify who the commander of the remaining Knight's watch is, though it certainly looked like John was prepping for his journey North in the Lord commander's quarters, but it could be any other "large" bunk room.

They also don't specify if John is staying North of the wall or not. They close the gates after EVERY party that goes North. He could very likely go back and forth.

I think I like it. Definitely bittersweet, but GoT was never going to end like a disney movie. Could have ended way grimmer as well, which would have been depressing... The way we got there was rocky as hell, but I believe that's where we were always going to end up...
Anybody smells an Arya spin-off though? Don't know what to think about that. Could be fun, could be trash. But if it's fun, it could be tremendously fun.

Was there ever an explanation as to what Bran was looking at (the crows flying through the trees) sitting out there by the white tree before the night king was thinking he was about to take him out?
