Isn't the Mando's helmet and rifle (or something close) in one of the shops?

Well, I'm on the Target website now, it says "the shipment has landed"... but there is nothing new at all. Not even the blasters. Nothing. Hmm...

Edit: Okay, I did just find the blasters and the Sabacc cards. I'm guessing the helmet really was just a rumor after all. Bummer.

The Sabacc cards are really disappointing. They're just standard playing cards that are shaped like Sabacc cards and have a worn look to them. Meh.

I was expecting far worse. But yes, still disappointing. I might have gotten a set if they did not have “Star Wars“ on the design.

Sorry. I don’t want to be right on these kinds of thing. But with these type of things, plan for the worst, hope for the best.

I actually like the idea of a standard set of playing cards made to look like something from the Star Wars verse, but I wish they would have done a different design on the back. Maybe something with the black spires logo design.
 
I’m just disappointed that the Black Series Captain Cardinal helmet turned out to be nothing more than a rumor. :( I’m guessing the rumored helmet was actually just the figure all along.

I ended up not getting anything, I didn’t see anything that I wanted. I’ll get that blasters sooner or later just to paint up but seeing as I already have the original releases of them they’re not a high priority. The helmet was all I really wanted.

Oh well, maybe the helmet will come out one day.
 
Got the cards. Not horrible, more fun than a standard set of cards. Got my daughter the Ewok.

Not much else interesting there, really. They had some droids, but none of the Black Series figures were there. Only about half of the listed items were at my Target.

I really didn't expect anything good coming from target for Galaxys edge.

Disney's greed surprises me seeing how they won't sell items outside of the parks. Didn't think they would allow targets line to be any different

Well, it was supposedly going to come out last night and it didn’t. So either that release date was a rumor or the helmet itself was a rumor.

With it getting close to the end of the year it seems like Hasbro would of at least hinted at the helmet by now, even if it was just a generic FO stormtrooper helmet. I was always a bit skeptical about it, anyway, it seemed too soon after the Fett helmet was released for Hasbro to put out another new Black Series helmet that wasn’t a repaint of an older one. But I had been hopeful.

We may see a BS FO stormtrooper helmet at some point but it’s definitely not now...
 
They set the end cap at my store this morning. I was told we had the Falcon and other stuff but it was long gone when I went by there at 1pm.
One of the employees told me some guy bought over $200 worth of stuff.

I saw some GE related books, Tee's, Lego sets and assorted plastic sabers with Kyber crystals.

Well I never saw anything stating the release date for the helmet was going to be the same time as the official start of the marketing event. Nor have I read anything about the event being limited to one wave of products. So although I cannot confirm a future release, there is not existing info that states it still not a possibility.

Last year I remember a lot of new products that came out in the beginning of November because it was also the same time The Mandalorian premiered (NOV 12). There has not been a lot of talk about new product releases due to the fact we usually hear about them at SDCC and then some more at Star Wars Celebration. Since both were cancelled, the talk is low but you have to believe there is a lot more out there than the few leaks we hear here and there. So basically I am not giving up until there is some solid info.
 
A new Target Galaxy Edge item is the mood light Holocron at 6x6 inches. It’s not quite a great prop replica because the bottom is plain and has the battery access. But if you simply want a neat shelf display, it looks pretty good.
