Roman - is that an anodizing stain on the inside? Do you think that would be able to be taken off using some metal polish? They look spot on!

That's just a water stain from the chrome tanks. I doubt those will be on the final units, but most come out with Windex... if that doesn't work, some mother's polish will do the trick. But again, I doubt those will be on the final units.

Has there been any update on the Solo's Hold Graflex blade holder and if you will be doing it in two parts (please!)?

It will be purchasable through Solo's Hold, but it will be announced here too when they are available, no worries!



Yeah I know what you mean and we've been discussing it. The brass strip is about 0.2mm thickness, so while it isn't much, a close look will notice it.

For now I can't really answer tho. While I can perfectly design it for a 3D printed part, having this machined isn't the same story (we have to keep the production cost bearable). I also would like to avoid a 2 parts blade holder for the same reason.
This is an open point for now.

I might have to get that KR Saber blade holder. Hopefully it'll be compatible with Darth Ryo's chassis. And if it comes with a blade plug, then I'll use my extra one hopefully for a future OBW MkIII.

Looking pretty good so far. Is this the final prototype or are there going to be further revisions? The hole for the retaining screw between the plug slots will be countersunk, correct? Very curious to see the bottom plate as well.
