Limited Run === G R A F L E X === Flashgun Gen.2 ... now taking PRE-ORDERS!!! New Pics Oct. 5

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

In fifty year these will be worth more! Why? 1. There will be less number produced 2. They are better built than the original 3. Because they are awesome!

My prediction is that when Star Wars Episode 132: Return of the Sith Jar Jar comes out, a 20th century Graflex will be $32,000 on evilbay, but a 21st century Romans Graglex will be well over $100,000, maybe more since most of us won't sell them. I'm more excited for this than the vintage 3 cell I won today on the bay!

Thanks Roman!

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

Saw the renders on fb! Glad I got in early :) Wow.

I've often wondered how some people keep a Graflex in an "unaltered" state. I no longer wonder that. Now I wonder how long I can fight the urge to convert it. Looks so amazing!

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

Where is the best place to buy T-rail grips that are screen accurate, have the TFA/ESB slots pre cut and don't have to be drilled into the body of the flash.

And where is the best place to get a blade mount that fits with this replica? I'm pretty new here so be gentle.

You don't need anything from TCSS, Roy's site and TGS have everything covered - except you have to cut the slots and drill, which doesn't answer elmo's question unfortunately. That's the route I'll take though, because they're the parts I think are the best overall (all things considered).

I don't believe there's a place to get them pre cut and drilled. I bet there are places that will do it for you that I don't know about. It is fun to cut and drill them, but I have ruined a full set once or twice... maybe I need to order a back up set from Roy.

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

Blas-Tech does offer their rubber T-Track pre-cut, slotted and drilled. But most people aren't looking for rubber T-Track...

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

I've heard rumor that Blas-Tech is closing down, anyone else hear the same? Also I think I read over in the TFA Graflex thread that the TFA T-Track may actually be rubber now.

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

If you're worried about accuracy, I would just wait till the blue ray comes out. I'm sure the mad scientists on these boards will figure everything out shortly after that. [emoji6]

How hard is it going to be to put grips and a clamp on this ? I'm a novice :/

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

Just ordered 2 blade holders from the G R A F L E X shop for my 2.

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

I know we want these to be as accurate as possible ,but will there be some mark or indicator on these so they can't be passed off as originals , other than natural weathering from age that is.

I asked the same question and Roman said he could tell the difference, but the are very accurate.

Re: === G R A F L E X === flashgun ... anyone?

There will be a "tell" that owners and buyers in the know will be able see and spot the difference. Same with the Parks 1.0. There is a tell on the bottom stamp and the upper and clamp has small differences.
