I wasn't expecting these babies till tomorrow. So I was super happy to see them, waiting for me, in my mail box when I got home. Roman, I can't thank you enough, these are absolutely beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!


I was also extremely happy to finally be able to put my circuit board from Sloth Furnace, my clamp lever from Roy, & my GRAFLEX clamp from Roman together at last. & they went together perfectly!



I've got to shave off the nubs from the inside, & then I'm gonna slap this bad boy onto the Starkiller Luke v2 - 2nd run - saber body.
I need to age 2 of the 3 I got. One for the Roman weathered Obi-Wan, & the other (a little less weathered) for the Luke v2.



I can't wait for a day off, so I can get to work!

I'll have to check, but I think I ordered mine with a satin finish. It is very shiny. I knew, when others started receiving theirs, that they would be in brand new shiny condition, & would therefore need to be "aged". I'm just happy to finally have them at this point, & they're beautiful.

I ordered nickel but got the same as everyone which may be the nickel for all I know just really shiny. I was able to easily get the finish where I wanted with a scotch brite pad so I'm not worried at all.

Honestly I just used my dremel sanding wheel. Did 3 clamps in about 3 mins. Very easy.

I second the Dremel suggestion. Took no time at all and made it much easier to make sure no little nibs left and had it slide over the saber (which was a tight fit to begin with).
