Future Day McFly

Hey RPF I've been lurking a few months now. Last year I did a budget McFly for Halloween and a couple of local cons. I decided early this year I wanted to get together a future McFly costume for Halloween this year, preferably finished by Future Day, which we all know is Wednesday! I've come a long way thanks to some awesome threads in this forum, and just wanted to show off my accomplishments a bit! I built my jacket from scratch using a Members Only jacket, with working pockets and sounds/blinking light on the belt buttons and bought some HC mags and did a full custom conversion, using white rawhide leather for the swoosh and strap, and some slightly-not-the-right-color EL, but I'm really happy with the results! They're all mine and I put all the work in myself so they mean so much more to me. Anyway, pictures!

Here are my Finished Mags

Custom Strap/Swoosh/EL sole lights/new leds/buffed, matte sprayed and outrigged led bubble/7 hour battery/charge port/cuff power buttons/icy blue soles with angelus dye/cloneprops ankle buckle/ironed toe and straps. Not Bad for some HC Mags!


And Here's the jacket I started with, and a couple progress shots. I should have it finished tomorrow!

I have a few more props in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll post photos of the entire outfit on or before Wednesday, October 21st, 2015!

What's up RPF! I wanted to have this up sooner but a family emergency arose. But last night I finally got a chance to don the entire McFly! So here it is ladies and gentlemen. My completed Jacket and Mags. Might still do some hoverboard mods, but I'm pretty satisfied. Thanks again for all the inspiration RPF!

Hey thanks! Yea those Members Only jackets are the perfect base! This whole project was a blast.
