Hey guys, So I feel like I had accidentally been holding out on you. I got the template plans from the guy a couple days ago, and coulda sworn I linked it to yah guys. Well here you go
FMA Motorcycles :: Alphonse Armour
I will be putting it together with posterboard the next couple days and will check for accuracy. If you guys are eager like me and can't wait till i fugure it out let me toss up some pointers. The pdfs are in A1 paper size, many do not have a printer that can shoot these out (like me). Here is a suggestion... Drop it in an online converter, from pdf to something like png or jpeg. I found this site to be helpful: Free Online Document Converter, Batch Convert to PDF or Image, Doc Converter, PDF Printer. Download Rasterbastor , it is a program used for making posters out of multiple sheets. yes you can use the online one, but you have more freedom installing it. It seems pretty lightweight so I didn't mind. Here are the settings I am using: open the image file > choose US letter > landscape > Use 3 sheets (this will make it into 9 sheets / pdf) the dimensions are about as close as i can seem to get them. A1 dimensions are 594 x 841 mm, this will print in an area that is 589 x 837, so really not too off, and as long as you do them all the same it won't be off from each other, just a fraction of a mill scale sized. Lastly, select "wide" and then something like 2mm for dot size. Yes this will make the pdf rather large, maybe 8 mb per, but I found that just 3mm I lost too much detail for my taste, and 1mm killed my comp -.-
Hope this helps, any other questions I will be glad to help with, and by all means, if anyone else knows a easier way to resize this besides what i did let us know
happy building.
