3 cheapo plastic champagne flutes, a bit of aluminium tube, the guts of a busted solar garden light, a boiled egg cup, the bottom of a softdrink can, some plastic, and a thingy that goes on the end of a curtain rod.....

Great idea on the champagne flutes, I'm going to use it myself for a project.

I absolutely LOVE to see custom stuff - whatever form that takes...

Also... I bet you could dirty that thing up a bit and get it on Antique Roadshow... it looks like it came out of a little boys bedroom from 1950!!!

Good job!

WOW! I hope you have some progress shots of that...what part was used for the gun body/grip?

Do you have the part number for the finial and what part of the garden light do we bust?
LOL :D
Looks cool!

You're all too kind..

The body was the main guts of the champagne flute...(the bit the liquid gets poured into)

The handle was cut and dremelled out of about 5 thicknesses of plastic sheet..(a little over 1/8 of an inch thick).

The trigger is the springy bit of what we know "down here" as a toggle bolt.

The solar garden light bit was what I'd call a diffuser. It sits over the LED in the light to diffuse the light.....(it's the red/yellow bit in the "middle" of the gun between the body and the barrel.
Naturally it was transparent to begin with, and I painted the inside red/yellow.
