Freddy mask paintup

I painted this Freddy mask for a friend. It is probably the best pull of any licenced mask I have ever seen. It is actually standing on it's own in the shots no stand or wig form at all under it.

From what i can tell from the pics, the paint doesn't look to shabby.. :thumbsup
for a shelf item, it's amazing that it's thick enough to stand on it's own.
motman is right..the teeth could use a little work too..
maybe grab one of those $10 skull models and yoink the teeth out of the kit?
it's pretty cool like it is, but, a little custom dental work and your friend has a badass mask.

Thanks guys.

Yea you're right about the teeth. I only had the mask to work with and no time to modd it with resin teeth or the like. That part is the downfall of the entire mask. The rest isn't bad. I want to sculpt a new one but just haven't had the time to finish one mask (Scarecrow) that is still on the form ready to be wrapped up.

Sorry for the crap pics. My old Sony took a dive and I had to use a cheapy for the first pics and my pc cam of all things for the second pics.

It's kinda hard to judge the paint without better color in the pics. From what I can tell, it looks good, except for the mouth shape and teeth which have very little to do with your paintjob. It sure looks lots better than the original paintjob I've seen on this mask.

It'd be good to get some new pics in sunlight - the dim lighting makes it hard to judge the colours etc, but from what I can see you did a nice job.

It's a shame about the sculpt of the mask though - it's not too accurate and probably doesn't do your paint job any justice.

The best actual masks I have seen (at least readily available masks) are the David Miller versions. But even those are blown out of the water by Chewie15's amazing Freddy sculpt.
