Found a good source for a 2-1/4" Vader belt

I did a bunch of searching to find a black leather belt with the correct dimensions and looks right for Vader. From what I read, ideally its supposed to be 2 1/4" wide.

For those of you who are looking for one check this out...

It would not be bad, but not correct either. The belt would have the correct width. But it seems that it has a sewn in stripe sort of thing on the top and bottom. The film used had just groves cut into it.

However I do think that it is funny that the belt is available in a size 66 waist.

And we all know it would get you kicked out of the convention to be caught in a sewn-stripe belt instead of a cut-stripe belt, now don't we...? :rolleyes:lol:lol

What a way to sell belts:thumbsup

That belt would work great, if even a fraction undersized. I think that it would work out great for a costume belt. You are just going to put the boxes and buckle on it and wear it back wards anyway, right? And you sure can't beat the price either:cool

Just get a Tandy belt blank and cut it down to 2.25" and they sell a tool that makes the grooves.
They are easy enough to do.
