Forbidden Planet Fence Posts

I have a friend who has expressed interest in the Forbidden Planet force field fence posts, with the intention of making some.
This sounds like a decent project and I am also interested.
Anyone have any decent shots of the prop?
Or, better still, dimensions from the one auctioned off?

Seems pretty straightforward: pole with slats cut out along sides, triangles of acrylic, ball on top... IIRC
