Any of you guys still on the list, there's one in the shop ready to go out today if you want it.
Thanks

say whhhhhat?!?!

can't wait to get this going! my friend also has one, and we are going to build them together. You've made this so easy my own mother could build it!

For sure still interested, a must have! What's the cost on the kits again? I'm sure I can have the money by the middle of the month

The price of the Builder's Kit version will be $400 and includes everything you need to build one, including a full video tutorial series walking through a complete built, step by step, from start to finish. The only thin you'll need is a few minor tools which are covered in the videos below. They can be purchased in my Etsy shop here.

For you guys that expressed interest, now that these are in full swing, please let me know if you're still interested and if/when you think you'd be ready for one. You can message me if you prefer. Just need to gauge how many kits I need to make up so I'm not sitting on inventory.
Thanks guys!

Yes, still interested! Should be ready in a week or so.

Feel dumb because I can’t find them but anyone have a link to the videos’ I’d like to see if I’d be up to the task and what’s involved

The videos only go out to those who have paid for a kit. I have seen the whole series, he makes this so easy my mother can do it

Hey John,
Yeah what Halliwax said. There's a LOT of info in the videos and a lot of work was put into them so they're "part of the kit" so to speak. But I will say that I have designed this for even the most novice builder. The kit includes custom designed jigs and tools that help you space and line everything up perfectly without ever making a single measurement. One of the hardest things was figuring out a way to measure perfectly equidistant lines on a sphere and get the part attached in the perfect position so that proportionally they're all exactly correct to the real prop. These jigs take all the guess work out. Just place the jig, glue the part, rinse and repeat.
If you can super glue plastic pieces and handle a can of spray paint, you can absolutely build this in a way that will make you look like a pro. The tutorials cover EVERYTHING from prep work, to assembly, to pro tips, to final details, to reference photos. It's about as streamlined as you can get.

More kits are in stock

Thanks guys!

BTW based on what little I could see from the trailer I did a quick rendering of the paint job from TROS:

BTW any of you that have purchased a kit, I would LOVE to see your progress or get feedback on how the kit was presented. I'm sure it would also help others to see how easy or difficult they are to build by following the tutorials, and would help others decide whether it's something they might want to do. Some people like to post showoff threads on the main prop forum but posting even a quick update here would be of great value to me and others.

Wow...I was deep into prop hunting and missed all the updates here. Will be ordering one from Etsy store this weekend, Trent.
