I've been asked that a few times on the Limited Edition version. All the work that goes into making them is on the remote itself so a static version wouldn't really be any cheaper. So honestly, if you want a non-floating one, just take it off the base and set it on a stand. but that way you have the option.

I'd have to quote you at the time of ordering but outside the US is usually $30-$60 depending on where it's going.
You can calculate if you want. The kit will come in an 8x8x8 cube box and will weigh approx 4lbs.

OK This interest list is officially a GO! The first batch of kits is about ready to go out over the next couple of days! I'll send out links to those first few on the list as I add them to my store and keep plugging away at it. I've finalized all the layouts and print jobs, built up some parts, stocked up on materials, bought a second 3D printer, organized my kit assembly process, etc.
I'm also making really good progress on the tutorial videos and would like to have those all finished and ready to go by the time the first person receives their kit.
