anyway.. knock on the door a few minutes ago and it was a man from DHL with a parcel ...

i opened it and found these..

Big thanks to Lee(usurper).. these were the legs he was using for his P1 build but had damaged them with chemicals... they look cool and i'm chuffed with them.. just need to be painted and some glue in a few small places.. but they rock..l

Oh Couldn't resist.. So i put on all the skin.. and the skins for the shoulders.. Didn't put the mail skirt on yet need to finish the cod piece first before i show that off...

any way a couple of pics.. the feet look a bit iffy... nothing in them. lol.. and skins sitting a bit arse ways.. didn't bother with attaching the belts yet... but was good to suit up for the most part in full... YAY!!!

Nearly there now mate a bit of paint on the legs and hands and hey presto another completed suit for the lair. Looks really good and can't wait to see it in the flesh and all finished. Might see you on Sat or Sun as I'm in Dublin so talk then, ya mad pykie ya.......

ok so the chainmaile skirt is done.. needs just a few small tweaks to get it sitting just right..
i just threw the torso on to give you guys an idea..
the front cod piece/Armour is just sitting on.. THis will be tied on and there is a skull piece that goes on like a belt buckle..

mate this pred style rocks big time! i can imagine him as a fecking butcher! like in a middle of a battle while other preds are using there plasma casters and other high tech gadgets and he just wades in huge feck off great axe in hand lopping xeno heads off left and right

thanks guys.. i'm really enjoying this build... oh and Dave its funny you should mention william wallace... the leather plates that are on the front of his cod piece are surplus ones from the set of BraveHeart, they were used for the English armour..Painted silver is all..

small update. I had all intentions of getting the gaunts finished over the weekend, never got to them.. so making a point of doing them tomorrow...
what i did get done was however was a bit of work on some of his trophies.

the zompie head as you can see has had the eyes cut out. and is completly foam filled using expanding foam...
I am going to paint the eye sockets black with a hint of red.. give it the look like the eyes have been ripped out..
at the base of the neck i built up the layers of expanding foam to make it look like the head had been torn from the body.. this will be painted up .. well very bloodily...

the hands i got from scott(Bovine) got the foam treatment to.. I have cut some of the fingers off and i will be inserting some bone into these.. then they'll be trimmed of excess foam and painted up.. these will hang from his belt as trophies..

so major components to finish on him are gaunts and then paint Legs, feet and hands...
