Hello everyone, Been lurking on this forum for a while now and I finally decided to make something, so I tried to make my nephew an Ironman suit. As a warning I did not take many pics, and I dont even have a pic of him in the full finished suit lol so what I'm posting here is pretty much it. My next build though , I will take pics of each step.... so here it is yall, be kind lol

lol awesome title, its lookin good just little advice is try to shape with heatgun for example the top of helmet. Next time heat it up till its pretty floppy then get something round like hardhat,basketball anything hard and round then while foam still hot press against round object until cools then it'll keep its round shape but keep it up:thumbsup

You know, I even bought a heatgun for just that purpose lol Never busted it out tho. The idea of using a basketball to form it is definately a good one, I'm definately gonna use it on my next build... Thanks!

I use my kitchen range top (what is that thing really called?) to heat up the foam, and bend it with my knee.

Heatguns work great. The only problem I had was when I had it on it wanted to blow the foam pieces across the tile floor. Also burned my fingers quite a bit too but all your blood sweat and burns will show in the end!!

The heat gun can be your best friend. I got real friendly with it working on some plastic pieces. Use gloves! You'll get more contact time with the item you're working on and less wear and tear on your digits. Looking forward to the next build!

Thanks for the advice and input yall, I think I know what I wanna make next... only problem though is that the pep file is A4. Is there a way to convert A4 into letter size?

Goto file, print and paper settings......then at the top click the paper type tab and choose letter
