These were all made about the same time. All made out of wood.

1st is a inaccurate Luke saber from those old blueprints.

2nd is some Trek phasers and a 1999 Stun Gun. All out of wood except the small P1s, Klingon agonizer & dagger which are resin.

3rd is my version of a blaster that was from some poster concept art. It was obviously made to look like a stormtrooper blaster but in a pistol size version.

I still have these and they are not in the best of shape. The last one was broken on the back and reglued and all show major signs of wear.

No picture, because I sold it ages ago, but back in 2003 or 04 I scored a Praco at a junk shop for $5 bucks and made a Yoda VD lightsaber. The rest, including most of my income, is history...

Made this PVC E-11 back in 2002 as part of a HUGE thread here. Don't know how many pages it was but it was insane. The only thing not scratchbuilt was the scope. It was a lot of fun.

This is what started it all. Oh one question while I'm at it, why can't we post the same photo in different topics? It comes up as an error:cry

Oh the other thing It's the robot not the Playmate!

My "first" prop was a hoverboard from BTTF 2, It was bad....really bad. Just a piece of wood.:rolleyes
Here is a Lightsaber i made in 1998 i think. Made from household paper roll.

Cant rmember exactly, I think it was the Save the Cloktower Flyer from BTTF.

A year later I started my first Ghostbusters trap.

Wow, these are pretty fun to look at! Keep them coming guys!

Love the communicator, Treadwell!!

OK, if we're going back to childhood cardboard days, I made a Freddy glove from cereal boxes. Later I upgraded to strips of metal snipped from Coke cans. I was in maybe 5th grade? Funny how some people just get that little itch to MAKE something...!

My first prop was a Sanskrit cloth, traced on a light box with colored pencils, a sharpie and a little paint.

Of course I made a proton pack from a paper box and a ghost trap of LEGO when I was a child.

I remember also, that I build the whole GB Firehouse in my room, my mother was very angry of that chaos... :lol

My father build me my first Raphael Sai from turtles, I also got a Leonardo ninja sword and a hoverboard made from wood, and painted...

That was really cool... :)

Technically, my first prop would've been my posterboard stormtrooper armor I made and wore for Halloween in 1977; complete with a flat top helmet (think ST helm shaped like Herman Munster. Hey, I was only 13 ya know)...

First semi decent prop was this; cheapie airsoft and resin bits...

First really decent prop (that deserved the term) was a totally scratchbuilt E-11 except for the scope and the T rails; I'd post a pic but unfortunately I deleted them from my HD and photo host awhile ago, so my next would be this...

Again, all scratched except the Blastech grips...

Similar to mine no pics still exist but my first prop was a Mikey Nunchuck made from a piece of wood, some chain, 2 screws and foam pipe protector covered in electrical tape.

It only sorta worked.

Oh, I forgot this. Yeah, I got a nunchuk, too, but for a chain my father used a band... I works great. It works so great that I had a dnice laceration, when I hit myself accidentally with whis thing... :rolleyes

Yep, there are no pics from these stuff, too...

I remember that I had after my paper box proton pack, one made of an old loudspeaker, with two straps and yellow band bound on the Ghostzapper toy... The trap was a cigar box...

Happy days, those days... Wish I had more pictures or memories to that time...
