Hi,
Long time browser, first time poster. I have lurked around these parts for a long time, and wanted to now share a project I've been working on for the last couple of weeks - the First Order Blaster Rifle. I really like the updated design and colour scheme of the new Stormtrooper rifles, and as the only ones available so far have been the NERF variants, I wanted to challenge myself to make my own using my 3D printer and Fusion 360. Below are some pictures of the progress so far...
The finished model in Fusion 360:

The first sections printed - this is made up of about 12 separate parts, with some just push fit for the moment to make sanding things easier.

the main rail

Scope, side box, clip, grip and trigger printed.

Everything printed, first sanding pass done and a few coats of filler primer.

Sanding complete, primer coat and base coat of white on the relevant parts.

The current state of play. Some cleanup to do and details to add, including a small decal on the grip below the barrel. Then a really light weathering pass to do and I may make a stand for it.

Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Jon.
