Hi, i wanted to share some photos of my 3d printed blasters that our very own chubsANDdoggers so masterfully created, 3d printed and built.
These creations of yours are in my opinion, the most accurate replicas to todays date. :D
Thank you!:)

I myself has painted these with model paint, which worked excellent in terms of adding realism and weathering to the blasters.
In a bit of a chaotic order, its the Bespin, Hoth and GK

Enjoy!

Very nice work! Care to share the paints/process you used for the ESB? I have one of my own that I've been putting off painting.

Absolutely!
Hoth Blaster:
I used Vallejo's acrylic model paint - a mix of regular Vallejo Black (70.950) and game color fx rust (72.609) to create sort of a Black / brown apperance.

For the weathering (dry brushing) i went with Vallejo Galvanic corrosion mixed with burnt umber. Also some citadel grey.

Bespin:
Vallejo Gunmetal (70.863) for the gun. Then some mahogany (72.472) and Black-brown that i dry brushed in

The grips were also painted with Vallejo paint. Mahogany, Black, burnt umber.
The screws that holds the grips were brass (72.058) and Natural steel(70.864)

And of course, for primer it was vallejo black primer.

The list:
Vallejo Gunmetal (metallic)
Vallejo Natural Steel and Oiled Steel (metallic)
Vallejo Black / Black Grey and Black Brown
Vallejo Brassy Brass(metallic)
Vallejo Mahogany (xpress colour)
Vallejo Rust (Game color Fx)
Vallejo Burnt Umber (Game Color)
Citadel administratum grey
Vallejo Corrosion FX

And for varnish Vallejo Matt varnish
:)
